Arckit set to appear on the biggest morning TV show in the US

Arckit set to appear on TODAY on NBC, the biggest morning TV show in the US, following a string of recent TV appearances including Fox News, Fox 4 and OK TV.

The Today Show in the US recently got in touch with us to ask if it would be possible, using Arckit, to make a model of their Studio A building in New York. Of course we said yes before building the model and sending it to them, all within just a matter of days. Today we received the news that they have chosen Arckit to appear on this Friday morning’s show, the 18th of December, at 10am.

TODAY on NBC is the biggest morning show in the US, so we were incredibly excited to hear the news. This follows an amazing couple of weeks of TV appearance on stations such as Fox News, Fox 4, OK TV and our very own Late Late Toy Show here in Ireland. Renowned Fox 4 consumer reporter, Steve Noviello, even tweeted Arckit to say, “Seriously one of my FAVOURITE products in the guide. I’m a huge fan!”

It’s been a busy month for us in the media with Arckit exploding in popularity as a mainstream ‘toy’ product for model hobbyists and budding architects – in fact, many magazines such as Mashable have listed Arckit as one of a select group of educational products that are being considered for use within school curriculums to teach STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) initiatives. Based on predictions for this generation’s future, STEAM concepts will be essential for successful participation in the workforce.

With Christmas almost upon us, we even made several ‘Best Gift Guides’ including lists published by The New York Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Time Out New York, Harrods and Easy Jet Magazine.

Arckit’s appearance today on NBC as part of a cool gifts you can get before Christmas selection presented by Amy Goodman, will be a fitting end to what has been an incredible year for Arckit, just 18 months after we first launched.
