STEAM Workshops & Demonstrations

Arckit has been part of educational workshops in Hamleys and Borders to show lots of parents and budding young architects how our system can help kids to develop fundamental STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) skills.

Over the last few months we showcased Arckit in Malaysia at the prestigious Cempaka International School at the Damansara and Cheras campuses. We demonstrated Arckit at their New Parents’ Day event to show what children will learn under the school’s STEAM curriculum. The feedback was fantastic.

So, next month (in September) we’ll be treating students from Freshman age upwards at both of these campuses to a ‘live’ architecture project. Parents will be invited to submit a description of their dream home and the students will then design and present a finished 3D model using Arckit!

What Makes Arckit Good as a STEAM Tool?

Arckit is a freeform system that uses ‘click and connect’ components to rapidly build almost any scaled architectural structure. It’s a fun way to learn basic design and build principles, develop problem solving and practice spontaneous creativity!

Our new series of Arckit Education Programmes are specifically designed to guide teachers and workshop facilitators through activities that introduce users to everything from architecture as a career through to dream builds and live projects.

If you are interested in stocking Arckit or would like to arrange a demonstration at your school or university then please contact for more information.

Happy building!
